Teaching Guide

1) Objectives of the area or areas involved.

- To know the alternative sports or new games.

- To search information on the internet.

- To work in groups in order to promote the companionship.

2) Contents.

- Frisbee

- Floorball

- Indiaca

3) Temporal distribution provided.

The work will be develop during the second term and the children will have four weeks to send the work by email and to take the indiaca built. We make the work during the physical education classes but it is possible that they have to make a part of the work at home.

4) Prior knowledge that students should have.

During the first term in this course (sixth) we have been working some similar sport to the alternative sports and we have watched some videos about that too.

Last year (in fifth course) these children made a similar work with me, so they know how is this kind of work.

5) Material provided (computers, software, pencils, etc.).

- PDI in order to explain the activity and the work.

- PAPERS to take notes.

- LAPTOPS (1 for group)

6) Organization of space (for both computer work and for discussions, creating murals, recordings, essays, etc.).

Each group will have its workspace in class. There will be six groups of four people.

7) The better organization of working groups.

8) Additional resources for teachers (tools, utilities, documents, books, etc.).

- The main material will be the websites which the teacher will use for working.

9) Whether or not to have the support of other teachers.

It is not necessary the help from other teachers because last year these children made other similar work with me.

10) Involvement of different areas.

With this activity we will encourage the development of new technologies and the area of English and Language
