All organisms, from the simplest to the most complex, are organized in the same way: they are made up of cells. Cells are the units of life of all living beings and they perform a series of characteristic functions in all of them, they are the so-called vital functions whose objective is to maintain the living organism (nutrition and relationship) and to perpetuate it (reproduction). In addition, not all cells are identical, but they vary greatly in their organization, structure, dimensions and functions. However, all share a basic structure. Therefore, we can say that the cell is the functional and structural unit of life.
In this activity, we will study more deeply the different types of cells, the parts that compose them and the function of each of them.
